The winter season has reared its ugly head, and we are all looking for ways to warm up and get cozy. If you are a coffee addict and can’t wait for that french press to finish steeping in the morning like me. Here are a few easy-to-make coffee drink selections to carry over into the evening. Trust me. These aren’t your average spiked Irish Cream drinks.
Espresso Martini Recipe

Yield: One cocktail
Ingredients
1 ½ ounces vodka
1-ounce espresso
1/2 ounce coffee liqueur
1/2 ounce simple syrup
Directions:
Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake for at least 10 seconds (or longer for more frothiness).
Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa or cinnamon, if desired.
Coffee Old Fashioned Recipe

Ingredients
1 sugar cube
4 dashes of orange Angostura bitters
1 ½ ounces Bourbon
½ ounce dark rum
.5 ounce Turkish Coffee chilled or at room temperature
Orange twist for garnish
Directions:
Combine the sugar cube, 1 teaspoon water, and bitters in a cocktail glass and stir vigorously until the sugar has dissolved.
Fill a shaker with ice cubes, then add Bourbon, rum, Turkish coffee, and simple syrup. Stir gently to combine.
Serve in a rocks glass over a single large ice cube, and add an orange twist for garnish.
Boozy Cold Brew Slush Recipe

Ingredients
3 cups cold brew coffee, divided
¼ cup milk
½ cup Irish Cream, such as Bailey’s
¼ cup vodka
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Cinnamon, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Fill ice cube trays with 2 ½ cups cold brew coffee and freeze until solid, at least 3 hours.
Add the remaining ½ cup cold brew in a blender—then the milk, Irish cream, vodka, vanilla, and frozen coffee ice cubes, and process until smooth and creamy (but not liquefied).
Divide the slushie evenly between 4 glasses. Drizzle with optional toppings, like a sprinkle of cinnamon, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream.
Irish Iced Coffee Recipe

Ingredients
4 ounces of strong coffee, chilled
1 tablespoon simple syrup
1 ½ ounces Irish whiskey
1-ounce heavy cream
Directions:
Combine coffee, simple syrup, whiskey, and cream in an ice-filled cocktail shaker.
Shake vigorously until very cold, about 30 seconds, and then strain into an ice-filled pint glass and top with whipped cream (if desired).
White Russian Recipe

Ingredients
2 ounces vodka
1 ounce Kahlúa
1-ounce heavy cream
Directions:
Fill a cocktail glass—preferably on the rocks or Old Fashioned glass—with ice. Pour the vodka and Kahlúa over the ice.
Top with the heavy cream and stir to combine.
